Paulo Franco & The Rateros (ra-TE-ros) hail from Richmond, Virginia. They play a unique blend of rock, old school country, alt-country and blues. The music draws heavily from influences like Steve Earle and the Graham Parsons inspired music of the Rolling Stones. They also feature covers from varied artists like the Long Ryders, The Silos, and take on covers from the Stones, Johnny Cash Bob Dylan and many more. The original songs are featured on Paulo’s first full lenght release, By The Light of a Paper Moon. The record was recorded and mastered locally in Richmond Virginia’s Woodland Heights District.
